On the participation of the institution «State Archives of the Gomel Region» in the district youth forum «Youth: a look through time at your favorite city!»

On September 13, 2024, the director of the institution «State Archives of the Gomel Region» Andrei Nikolaevich Sushchevich took part in the district youth forum «Youth: a look through time at your favorite city!».

The district youth forum was held at the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No. 75 of Gomel» and included the following events: a quest excursion, a museum dedicated to the Great Patriotic War, the action «Cranes of Our Memory», the project «Living Memory», the site «Tree of Peace and Creation», a dialogue platform, a master class.

The director of the archive Andrei Nikolaevich Sushchevich, the first secretary of the Gomel city organization of the BRSM public organization Mikhail Vladimirovich Didenchenko and the first secretary of the Novobelitskaya district organization of the BRSM public organization Alla Sergeevna Muzyka took part in the dialogue platform as experts.

As part of the forum for children, teachers and invited guests within the framework of the project «Open Film Archive. We brought this day closer as best we could», the archive organized a screening of the documentary film «Liberation», prepared by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.
