On the implementation of the republican campaign «Archives for School» in the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation

On September 13, 2024, as part of the republican campaign «Archives for School», the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation held an excursion for students of the Belarusian National Technological University.

The excursionists got acquainted with the history of BGANTD, its building, structure, areas of activity, and also visited the archive storage. They also had the opportunity to learn about the features of the restoration of archival documents.

The excursion to the archive allowed the students to get to know the historical heritage of the country better and understand the importance of preserving historical documents for future generations. In the Department of Information and Use of Documents, they were presented with project documentation of the National Library of Belarus and the Belarusian National Technological University, as well as photographs of the destruction and restoration of Minsk after the Great Patriotic War.

The students left positive reviews about the excursion, expressing gratitude to the archive staff for an interesting and educational event.
