On June 19–20, 2025, the II All-Russian Phaleristic Scientific and Practical Conference was held at the Russian State Social University

On June 19–20, 2025, the II All-Russian Phaleristic Scientific and Practical Conference dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945 was held in Moscow at the Russian State Social University (the historical House of the Comintern). The event was organized in partnership with the Heraldic Council of the City of Moscow and continues the cycle of socially significant discussions on the RSSU platform aimed at preserving the richest historical and cultural heritage, strengthening the thousand-year-old spiritual and moral values and traditions of Russian statehood. Among the honored guests and participants of the event are representatives of the Heraldic Council under the President of the Russian Federation, the Heraldic Council under the President of the Republic of Belarus, the Heraldic Councils of the National Guard Troops of Russia and the Ministry of Emergency Situations, holders of high state awards – Heroes of Russia, holders of the Order of St.George and the Cross of St.George, military attachés of the CIS member states, including Belarus, heroes and participants of the Special Military Operation.

The conference was opened by the rector of the RSSU, academician of the Russian Academy of Arts A.L.Khazin. In his speech, he noted that «in the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland, during the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, we dedicate it to the defenders of the Fatherland of all generations, who with their valor and courage increase the greatness and glory of Russia!»

The speeches of the conference participants repeatedly emphasized the importance of popularizing the military and historical heritage of our ancestors. The award system plays a major role in preserving the continuity of heroic traditions. It is the embodiment of people’s respect and gratitude to outstanding people for their great deeds and enormous merits to the glory of the heroic history of the Fatherland.

The conference was attended by senior research fellow of BelNIIDAD M.M.Yelinskaya, who read out the welcoming address of the Chairman of the Heraldic Council under the President of the Republic of Belarus A.F.Matelsky, spoke at the plenary session with a report on the topic «Formation and development of the award system of the Republic of Belarus», made a presentation with a demonstration of the Gold Star of the title «Hero of Belarus», orders, medals and badges.
