Meeting of the staff of the institution «State Archives of the Gomel Region»

On August 16, 2024, a working meeting of the staff was held at the institution «State Archives of the Gomel Region». The main agenda of the meeting was to discuss events related to preparing children for the new school year.

The leader of the youth movement of the archive, Victoria Rudenko, spoke at the meeting and told those gathered that the republican charity event «To School with a Kind Heart!» is being held from August 1 to 31. The goal of the event: to provide targeted social support to needy large families, single-parent families, as well as families in difficult life situations, experiencing difficulties in preparing children for the school year, children’s boarding schools. Victoria Rudenko called on the archive staff to take part in the collection of stationery and school supplies.

Also at the meeting, the chairperson of the primary trade union organization of the archive, Svetlana Primakova, spoke about the allocation of funds by the trade union committee of the archive for the preparation of children of archive employees for school, paying special attention to large families.

The meeting also paid much attention to some issues of labor legislation. Deputy Director of the archive, Andrei Petrovich Mitskevich, dwelt in detail on the explanation of the general rules concerning the provision of social leave for family and domestic reasons.
