On the visit of the employees of the institution «State Archives of the Gomel Region» to the exhibition «Belarusian Folk: Code of National Art. Masterpieces of Folk Artists from the Collection of the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus»

On August 1, 2024, employees of the institution «State Archives of the Gomel Region» took part in the grand opening of the exhibition «Belarusian Folk: Code of National Art. Masterpieces of Folk Artists from the Collection of the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus», which took place in the central part of the Rumyantsev and Paskevich Palace in Gomel.

A unique mobile exhibition project has been prepared by the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus in honor of the 85th anniversary of the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus and the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders. The exhibition is dedicated to the People’s Artists of Belarus, among whom are participants in the Great Patriotic War.

The exhibition provides a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the work of artists whose works are rightfully considered classics and the standard of Belarusian fine art.

By the end of the year, residents of Vitebsk, Grodno and Mogilev will be able to appreciate the project, which will become a significant event in the cultural life of the republic.
