BGAMLI noted the participants of the amateur art competition

On June 28, 2024, a ceremonial meeting of the workforce dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus was held at the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art (hereinafter referred to as BGAMLI).

During the event, the director of the BGAMLI Elena Aleksandrovna Makarenko congratulated the staff of the archive-museum on the upcoming holiday and presented a Certificate of Honor to Alexandra Podrez (granddaughter of the chief accountant of the archive-museum Nina Vasilyevna Podrez) for significant achievements and recognition of her efforts and skill at the first stage of the amateur art competition. among republican archival institutions, held on June 20, 2024 and dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.

Nina Vasilyevna spoke about her father, Marchuk Vasily Ilyich and his difficult military past. Alexandra spoke with Anatoly Vertinsky’s poem «Requiem for the skin» and expressed gratitude for the recognition of her creative achievements and promised to continue to develop her artistic abilities.
