On the implementation of the republican action «Archives to School» in the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation

On June 24, 2024, as part of the implementation of the republican action «Archives to School», excursions were organized in the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation for two groups of children from the «Art lets go» summer camp, created on the basis of the National Beauty School.

The excursionists learned about the history and structure of the archive, got acquainted with the types of documents of the BGANTD, testifying to the development of science and technology in the country over many years. The guys also learned about the conditions for storing documents and placing them in storage.

During the excursion, visitors were shown the drawings according to which the buildings of the Winter Circus in Minsk and the National Library of the Republic of Belarus were built.

As a result of the excursion, students received new impressions and knowledge that will undoubtedly be useful to them in the future.
