On the participation of employees of the Scientific Research Agency of Belarus in the amateur art show-competition among republican archival institutions
On June 20, 2024, in the assembly hall of secondary school No.27 in Minsk, the final stage of the II amateur art competition among republican archival institutions took place. The competition was planned by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus as part of events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders during the Great Patriotic War.
The honorary guests of the event were the director of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus Oleg Voinov, as well as the chairman of the Minsk city organization of the Belarusian trade union of workers of state and other institutions Vladimir Zubrik.
The contestants represented the National Historical Archive of Belarus, the National Archive of the Republic of Belarus, the National Historical Archive of Belarus in Grodno, the Belarusian State Archive of Film and Photo Documents, the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art, the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation, the Belarusian Scientific Research Institute of Documentation and archival affairs, Belarusian Research Center for Electronic Documentation, Central Laboratory for Ensuring the Safety of Documents of the National Archival Fund of the Republic of Belarus. Both employees and their family members were allowed to participate.
Based on the results of the review competition, the leading archivist of the department of automated archival technologies of the National Research Agency of Belarus, Victoria Medzhlumova, received a 1st degree diploma in the «Vocal Art» nomination. Other archive workers also performed as part of the competition program. The head of the department of research and publication activities, Sergei Ryndin, and the head of the archives, Tatyana Kotova, performed the song «For the rest of my life». Leading archivist of the department of automated archival technologies Pavel Khrenov read the poem «Remember» from Robert Rozhdestvensky’s poem «Requiem».
