About visiting an excursion by employees of the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation

On June 15, 2024, employees of the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation visited an excursion along the Zhirovichi-Synkovichi-Slonim route.

During the excursion, the working team of the archive visited one of the oldest cities in Belarus – Slonim, whose history is connected with the life of the chancellors of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania Lev Sapieha and Mikhail Kazimir Oginsky. It was under them that the city flourished and became one of the centers in the country.

The workers also visited the Zhirovichi Monastery, which houses within its walls the miraculous icon of the Mother of God, to which pilgrims from different countries go. The excursion ended with a visit to a unique defensive type temple in the village of Synkovichi.
