The institution «Zonal State Archive in Molodechno» took part in the XXIII National Festival of Belarusian Song and Poetry

The institution «Zonal State Archive in Molodechno», within the framework of the XXIII National Festival of Belarusian Song and Poetry, presented an exhibition with the documentary heritage «Pages of the History of the City of Molodechno». The exposition was located in the Rodina cinema, where archive staff not only introduced forum guests to historical facts about the area, but also narrated stories about the military past. Thus, archivist Olga Berezovskaya, before the premiere screening of the film «Time to Return», told the audience about the activities of front-line video operators during wartime and spoke about the importance of rare documentary footage in preserving historical truth. In the lobby of the cinema building, a series of public service announcements «Open Film Archive. We brought this day closer as best we could», created by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents specifically for the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.

The zonal archive also spoke about interesting facts from the history of the festival itself.

The content of the informational roll-ups aroused interest not only among adults, but also among the younger generation.
