Visit to the 30th international information and communication forum «TIBO-2024»

On June 05, 2024, employees of the ICT sector of the department of automated archival technologies of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus visited the 30th international information and communication forum «TIBO-2024».

The forum was attended by the largest domestic and foreign manufacturers of telecommunications equipment, hardware and software, companies – mobile and fixed-line operators, developers and suppliers of high-tech products, security systems, intelligent solutions and services for the mass and corporate segment. The audience of «TIBO» is representatives of government bodies, international organizations and diplomatic missions, professional and business associations, research and educational institutions, public and private companies, and the media.

NARB employees got acquainted with samples of computer, peripheral, switching and server equipment presented at the forum, and studied the capabilities of the latest software and information security tools.

Of particular interest were the exhibition samples of printing and duplicating equipment produced by the Russian brand «Katyusha», the presentation of the cybersecurity center of the Belarusian mobile operator «MTS» certified by the OAC, large-format drum-type scanners produced by KIP, a ready-made solution for the integration of complex data management systems and 1C «Prosto: ACS», TESLA monoblocks presented by RUE Beltelecom.

During the tour of the exhibition, the possibilities of practical application of the presented developments, in particular the cybersecurity center and large-format scanners, in the work of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus in the near future were discussed.
