On May 31, 2024, a republican seminar «On improving the regulatory framework for office work issues» was held.
The event was traditionally held for representatives of republican government bodies and other government organizations subordinate to the Government of the Republic of Belarus. Representatives of regional executive committees and the Minsk City Executive Committee took part in the event via videoconference.
The director of the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, O.L.Voinov, addressed the participants of the republican seminar with a welcoming speech, who noted that the seminar was organized as part of the work carried out by the Department for Archives and Records Management to explain the norms of the new edition of the Instructions for records management in state bodies, other organizations.
The Director of the Department emphasized that in order for organizations to have the opportunity to study the norms of the new Instruction and bring their local legal acts into compliance with its requirements, Resolution of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus dated January 10, 2024 No. 2 established a delayed date for its entry into force – July 1 2024
O.L. Voinov noted that this year the Belarusian Scientific Research Institute of Document Management and Archiving has already held 7 seminars, including on-site ones, and more than 30 seminars and meetings have been organized by republican and regional state archives for acquisition source organizations.
Conducting training events will continue in the future both at the republican and regional levels.
Director of the Belarusian Scientific Research Institute of Documentation and Archival Affairs A.E.Rybakov, in his speech, dwelled in detail on issues related to the main changes in the organization and management of office work in the light of the new edition of the Instructions for office work in government bodies and other organizations.
At the end of the seminar, participants discussed issues of interest, and also emphasized the importance and relevance of the event.
