We brought this day closer as best we could», director of the institution «Zonal State Archive in Lida» Svirko S.G. held in the Voronovo district executive committee a screening of the documentary film «Liberation», prepared by BGAKFFD and dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Republic of Belarus from the Nazi invaders and the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War, telling before the start of the film about the military operations of the Red Army, partisans, who participated in the liberation of Belarus, about the heroism of front-line film crew operators, home front workers who, at the cost of their lives, won the right to live under a peaceful sky in a free and independent country. At the event, the chairman of the Voronovsky District Council of Deputies, Elena Yanovna Ganevich, addressed the participants with opening and closing remarks.
