Visit of the Deputy Director of the Central State Archive of Film, Photo Documents and Sound Recordings of the Republic of Kazakhstan S.A. Sataeva to the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents
May 20, 2024 to the institution «Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Audio Documents» in order to familiarize themselves with the funds of the BGAKFFD and identify documents on the history of the two states and exchange them between the archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Belarus Deputy Director of the Central State Archive of Film, Photo Documents and Sound Recordings of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as the CSA KFZ) Saule Amantaevna Sataeva arrived.
The visit is carried out as part of the implementation of the Practical Action Plan to expand cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the Committee of Archives, Documentation and Book Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus for 2024-2029.
On the first day of the visit to BGAKFFD, digital copies of documents from the collections of the Central Archive of the KFZ were provided, familiarization with the funds of BGAKFFD began with the aim of exchanging documents between archival funds. S. Sataeva met with the team in the cinema hall and was given a tour of the archive departments. At the end of the first day, negotiations were held to expand further cooperation between archives and discuss joint exhibition projects.
S.A.Sataeva’s stay on a working visit is planned until May 25, 2024.
