On the opening of a virtual exhibition in the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation

As part of events dedicated to International Family Day, on May 18, 2024, a virtual exhibition «Architectural Symphony» opened in the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation, dedicated to the life and work of the family of Belarusian architects Oksana Fedorovna Tkachuk and Dmitry Petrovich Kudryavtsev.

By combining their creative efforts, O.F.Tkachuk and D.P.Kudryavtsev made a significant contribution to the development of Belarusian architecture. Oksana Fedorovna is the author of a number of large objects in Minsk: the Rakovskoe Highway-3 microdistrict, the Belarusian State Academic Musical Theater, the complex of buildings of the Institute of National Economy on Partizansky Avenue, etc. In turn, Dmitry Petrovich became famous for creating a series of large-panel houses in various microdistricts of Minsk, a children’s music school on Lunacharsky Boulevard and other iconic objects.

In preparing the exhibition, documents from the family foundation of O.F. Tkachuk and D.P. Kudryavtsev were used, allowing us to trace the creative path of the two architects.
