Conducting a lecture as part of the «Archives to School» campaign and introducing students to an archival exhibition at the institution «Zonal State Archive in Pinsk»
As part of the «Archives to School» campaign, a lecture was held for 9th grade students of gymnasium No.3 in Pinsk on the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Republic of Belarus from the Nazi invaders and the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.
Y.S.Lychik told the children about the heroes of the Great Patriotic War, whose documents are presented at the documentary exhibition «Walk of Partisan Glory» in the reading room of the archive. Continuing the meeting, the chronicle-documentary film «To the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the city of Brest from the Nazi invaders», prepared by the Belarusian State Archive of Film and Photo Documents, was shown. The guys had the opportunity to take a memorable photo in the themed photo zone «May 9 – Victory Day».
