Round table «We remember, we are proud!» at the Institute of Economics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus

On May 8, the Institute of Economics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus hosted a round table «We remember, we are proud!», timed to coincide with Victory Day. Director of the Institute of Economics D.V.Mukha addressed the forum participants with a welcoming speech. He spoke about the work that the institute is doing to preserve historical memory.

Director of the Scientific and Practical Center for Problems of Strengthening Law and Order of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Belarus, Ph.D. I.A.Moroz gave a detailed report on the topic «National heroes and pseudo-heroes of the Great Patriotic War: historical and legal analysis».

Deputy Director of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, Ph.D. S.V.Kulinok presented a speech on the topic «Partisans in Operation Bagration», in which he elaborated on the participation of «forest soldiers» in the liberation of our republic in the summer of 1944.

Reports from employees of the Institute of Economics were also presented.
