On May 8, 2024, employees of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus and republican archival institutions took part in the patriotic action «People’s Laying Out»

On May 8, 2024, an event dedicated to the memory of participants in the Great Patriotic War took place at the military cemetery in Minsk as part of the patriotic action «People’s Laying On». Representatives of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, republican archival institutions and public associations took part in the action. The delegation of archivists was headed by Deputy Director of the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus A.E.Tsvetkov.

Participants in the action laid flowers at the monument to the heroes who died during the Great Patriotic War and paid tribute to the memory of Soviet soldiers, partisans and underground fighters who fought in the battles for the liberation of Belarus.

Workers in the archival industry of our country make a great contribution to preserving the historical memory of the events of the Great Patriotic War, and archival documents reflect the special significance of Victory Day in the history of the Belarusian people.
