Celebration of Victory Day at the State Institution «National Archives of the Republic of Belarus»

On May 8, 2024, a solemn meeting of archive workers was held at the State Institution «National Archive of the Republic of Belarus» as part of events dedicated to the celebration of the 79th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.

Director of the archive A.K.Demyanuk emphasized the importance of celebrating Victory Day for every resident of Belarus and congratulated the archive staff on the upcoming holiday.

Deputy Director S.V.Kulinok made a report on the heroic events of the Great Patriotic War, reflecting the incredible courage of the people who defended their country during the war.

Also as part of this event, there was a viewing of the documentary film «Liberation», prepared by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents for the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.
