On conducting a thematic lesson by employees of the institution «Zonal State Archive in Baranovichi»

On May 6, 2024, as part of the «Young Archivist» project, a thematic lesson «Volleys thundered for peace», dedicated to May 9, was held at the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No.13 of Baranovichi». Head Department of the State Archive, Svetlana Igorevna Lavrentieva told students about the difficult years of occupation of the city, the concentration camps and ghettos created. At the end of the lesson, students were shown the film «To the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the city of Brest from the Nazi invaders», prepared as part of the project «Open Film Archive. We brought this day closer as best we could» by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents.
