On conducting an excursion for representatives of the Public Association «Belarusian Union of Border Service Veterans»

On April 23, 2024, on the eve of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders, an excursion for the chairmen of regional and city organizations of the Public Association «Belarusian Union of Border Service Veterans» took place in the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus.

During a tour of the archive, research fellow of the publications department T.N. Ageenko spoke about the history of the archive, the composition and features of storing documents, and the work of the archive in acquiring documents. The guests visited the archives, where they got acquainted with materials from the period of the Great Patriotic War (documents of partisan formations, cards stolen to Germany, albums of destroyed cities), etc.
