On April 23, 2024, the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice held a seminar-meeting «On the procedure for state archival institutions to perform paid work for legal entities and provide paid services to legal entities and individuals».

The seminar-meeting was attended by heads of structural divisions for archives and records management of the main justice departments of regional executive committees, heads of state archival institutions and accountants of archival institutions.

During the seminar-meeting, issues of provision of paid services to legal entities and individuals for copying archival documents by state archival institutions were discussed.

The information «On the procedure for determining the composition of costs and calculating the cost of paid services provided by state archival institutions» was presented by the director of the Belarusian Research Institute of Document Management and Archival Affairs A.E.Rybakov, the director of the State Archives of the Brest Region A.G.Karapuzova and the head of the accounting department and ensuring the safety of documents of the State Archive of the Mogilev Region, S.L.Sharaeva shared their experience of providing paid services for copying archival documents in regional archives.

The participants of the seminar-meeting discussed the existing problematic issues of pricing for services for copying archival documents, classifying the types of services for providing copies of archival documents and identified ways to solve them.
