04/18/2024 the director of the institution «Zonal State Archive in Lida» Svetlana Gennadievna Svirko took part in the scientific and practical conference «80 years of peace. From liberation to the present day», which was held on the basis of the State Institution «Lida Regional Library named after Yanka Kupala». As part of the implementation of the project «Open Film Archive. We brought this day closer as best we could», a film lecture was held for the conference participants, during which a newsreel film «To the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Grodno region from the Nazi invaders» prepared by BGAKFFD was shown. The director of the archive spoke to the audience before the start of the film screening.
