BSAMLA: on a trade union tour – for new impressions

On March 15, 2024, members of the Primary Trade Union Organization of the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art took part in a tour of the most colorful region of our country – Pripyat Polesie. They visited its cultural capital – the ancient city of Pinsk, one of the most beautiful and cozy places in Belarus, the historical center of which is an urban planning monument of republican significance, and the ancient settlement is an archaeological reserve.

The next point on the trip was the regional museum of folk art in the town of Motol – the main tourist «pearl» of the Ivanovo region. The museum contains unique exhibits displayed in thematic exhibitions on the history of the town, its crafts, clothes, rituals, folk traditions, etc.

Not without «Motalskikh prysmaka», because this place, among other things, is famous for its sausages, cheeses and smoked fish. At the end of the tour, all participants of the trip returned to Minsk with pleasant impressions.
