About the exhibition of the banner exhibition «Brest Region: Pages of History» in the Brest Regional Library named after M.Gorky

During the period from February 26 to 29, 2024, the banner exhibition «Brest Region: Pages of History» prepared by the archive was exhibited in the Brest Regional Library named after M.Gorky as part of an intellectual games tournament for students of schools and secondary specialized institutions of the city called «We are Brest residents», organized by the library for the 85th anniversary of the Brest region, which is celebrated in 2024.

Representatives of 16 educational institutions of the Brest region took part in the intellectual competitions.

Participants in the tournament dedicated to the history of the region had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the archival documents, photographs, and articles from the Brest regional newspaper «Zarya» presented at the exhibition, reflecting the main milestones in the development of the region and significant events in its history (from December 1939 to the end of the 1980s). x years).
