Visit of students to the zonal state archive in Kobrin

On February 26, 2024, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign, the zonal state archive in Kobrin was visited by 5th grade students from secondary school No.3 in Kobrin.

During the lesson, archive specialists told students about the genocide of civilians in the Kobrin and former Divinsky districts of the Brest region. The children were presented with copies of documents from regional commissions to assist in the work of the Extraordinary State Commission to establish and investigate the atrocities of the Nazi invaders and the damage they caused.

Traditionally, the meeting ended with a sightseeing tour of the archive.
