On January 26, 2024, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign, the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus took part in the grand opening ceremony of a memorial plaque dedicated to the memory of Grigory Vasilyevich Bulatsky at the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No. 20 of Minsk named after G.V. Bulatsky»

On January 26, 2024, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign, the director of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus A.K. Demyanuk and the head of the department of personal funds I.V. Dorogush took part in the grand opening ceremony of a memorial plaque dedicated to the memory of Grigory Vasilyevich Bulatsky, a scientist, Dean of the Faculty of Philology, Faculty of Journalism of the Belarusian State University, Doctor of Historical Sciences, professor, laureate of the Union of Journalists of the USSR, participant of the Great Patriotic War at the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No. 20 of Minsk named after G.V. Bulatsky.»

At the opening ceremony, welcoming words were delivered by the Deputy Chairman of the Standing Commission on Human Rights, National Relations and the Media of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus L.S. Ananich, and the head of the administration of the Pervomaisky district of Minsk V.A. Perednya.

The event was attended by the sons of Grigory Vasilyevich: professor of the Department of Television and Radio Broadcasting of the Faculty of Journalism of BSU V.G. Bulatsky, General Director of Trio Media LLC S.G. Bulatsky, daughter N.G. Bulatskaya, grandson P.V. Bulatsky – chief director The directorate of the TV channel «Belarus 5», also teachers of the Faculty of Journalism of BSU, cadets of the Minsk City Cadet School, the military band of the 120th Guards Rogachev Red Banner, the Orders of Suvorov and Kutuzov of the separate mechanized brigade named after the Supreme Council of the Belarusian SSR, etc.

Director of the National Archives A.K. Demyanuk presented the banner exhibition of the archive «We survived and won», congratulated the staff of teachers and students of the school on the significant event and presented the director of the school Yu.A. Samokhvalova with the popular scientific publication «Archives. Nothing but the truth».

Andrei Konstantinovich and Inessa Vladimirovna visited the school museum «Origins», which is dedicated to the history of the emergence of radio broadcasting and television in Belarus. The museum’s exhibition featured documents from G.V. Bulatsky’s personal collection, donated by the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus.
