Events at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus for the 125th anniversary of the birth of V.Z.Korzha

On January 10, 2024, a lesson was held at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus with employees of the central office. The theme of the lesson was the 125th anniversary of the birth of the Soviet military, party and statesman, Hero of the Soviet Union V.Z.Korzh.

The head of the department of ideological support for personnel policy and ideological support of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, M.N.Skomoroschenko, addressed those present with a welcoming speech. He noted the importance of studying the history and biographies of people such as V.Z.Korzh, which are symbols of the struggle for independence and prosperity of our state.

Head of the Publications Department of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus (NARB), Candidate of Historical Sciences S.V.Kulinok gave a lecture about V.Z.Korzh. He spoke about the combat activities of the legendary partisan in Western Belarus, Spain and the occupied territory of the BSSR. The lecturer cited numerous memories of both V.Z.Korzh himself and his colleagues. S.V.Kulinok also spoke about the post-war biography of the hero of the day.

A newsreel dedicated to V.Z. Korzh, prepared by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents, was shown to the participants of the event.

Also, employees of the central office of the ministry got acquainted with the documentary exhibition dedicated to the 125th anniversary of V.Z.Korzha.

It presented documents and materials from both the personal fund of the hero of the day and from the partisan funds of the NARB. Head of the Department of Personal Funds I.V.Dorogush spoke about the composition of the documents presented at the exhibition and answered questions from those present.
