On November 3, 2023, on the eve of the celebration of the Day of the Great October Socialist Revolution, a meeting of archive workers was held at the institution «Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation».

The chairman of the trade union cell, S.M.Terekhova, gave a lecture to the employees on the topic «Crossing the pages of history: the influence of the October Revolution on Belarus».

In her speech, S.M. Terekhova emphasized that the October Revolution played an integral role in the formation of Belarusian statehood. She pushed the Belarusian people to actively fight for independence and self-determination. The creation of the Belarusian Soviet Socialist Republic strengthened the Belarusian nationality and provided an opportunity for the development of national culture and identity.
