On participation in the republican action “Archives – School” of the institution “Zonal State Archives in Krichev”

On October 25, 2023, as part of the republican action “Archives-School”, the leading archivist of the institution “Zonal State Archives in Krichev” Victoria Kondratenko conducted the second training lesson within the framework of the pilot project “Young Archivist” for students in grades 8-9 of the Rechitsa Basic School of Cherikovsky district. Victoria Kondatenko introduced students to the concepts of “archive,” “archival document,” “documentary fund,” and the types and functions of an institution.

At the end of the lesson, the guys concluded that the archive and archival service are very important for preserving the accumulated social experience and passing it on from generation to generation, while forming a repository of the social memory of society.
