Conducting excursions for 7th grade students of secondary school No. 27 in Grodno by the State Institution «NIAB in Grodno»

On October 11, 2023, as part of the republican action «Archives to School», a lecture and excursion were held for 7th grade students of secondary school No.27 in Grodno at the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno.

In order to educate and patriotic education of young people and popularize the documents of the archival fund, schoolchildren were told about the history of the creation of the archive and the main directions of its activities.

The children visited the exhibition hall, where they were introduced to exhibitions created using archival documents, as well as the archives, scientific and reference library, where they were told about the composition, mode and conditions of storage of documents and periodicals.

Guests of the archive watched with interest the process of restoration of original archival documents in the laboratory for special processing of archival documents.
