October 6 – Archivist’s Day

On October 6, the Archivist’s Day is celebrated in the Republic of Belarus. This holiday is fixed by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 157 “On public holidays, holidays and memorable dates in the Republic of Belarus” dated March 26, 1998.

In honor of the professional holiday, Svetlana Sergeevna Matskevich, Head of the Department of Legal Service Organizations of the Main Department of Justice of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee, visited the State Archive of the Minsk region and took part in the solemn event.

Svetlana Sergeevna congratulated the archive staff on their professional holiday and wished them good health, well-being and good luck in all their work endeavors.

For many years of conscientious work, high professionalism, significant contribution to the development of archival work in the field, the Diploma of the Main Department of Justice of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee was awarded:
