The State Archives of the Minsk Region visited the State Educational Institution “Secondary School No. 108 of Minsk” as part of the “Archives to School” campaign and the pilot project “Young Archivist”

On September 27, 2023, as part of the “Archives to School” campaign and the “Young Archivist” pilot project, employees of the State Archive of the Minsk Region held a meeting for students in grades 5-7 of the State Educational Institution “Secondary School No. 108” on the eve of Teacher’s Day. Minsk” lesson “Silhouette of a teacher against the background of history.”

The students were shown documentary materials from the funds of the State Archives of the Minsk Region: certificates of education, pages from school notebooks, etc. The students learned about the history of the Teacher’s Day holiday, the position of the teacher in society and what subjects were studied in schools at different times.
