On the restoration of the water supply in Mogilev

The institution «State Archive of the Mogilev Region» presents a copy of the Decree of the Council of People’s Commissars of the BSSR of November 5, 1944 No. 760 «On the restoration of the water supply in Mogilev». The document describes measures that must be carried out by the city authorities to provide citizens with tap water. Recovery work was carried out not only by the forces of the employees of the city water utility, but also with the participation of the city’s inhabitants. All efforts were directed to the speedy overcoming of post -war devastation and return to a peaceful life.
