On the holding of a lecture by employees of the institution “Zonal State Archive in Orsha” within the framework of the “Archives to School” campaign on the topic “Profession of Archivist”

On September 8, 2023, as part of the republican action “Archives to School” and events dedicated to the Year of Peace and Creation, with students of the 9th grade of the state educational institution “Secondary School No. 14 in Orsha”, archive workers held an information hour on the topic “Profession of an archivist”.

During this event, the children became acquainted with the profession of “archivist”, learned about the main directions of the archive’s activities and the composition of the stored funds, the specifics of working with archival documents, as well as the history of the institution’s building.
