Participation of the BGAKFFD in the socio-political marathon “17 Facets of Unity”

On the eve of National Unity Day, the Republican Public Association “Belaya Rus” together with the party of the same name organized a political marathon “17 Facets of Unity”. This year it will be held in seventeen cities in different regions of our country. The start of the marathon was given on September 6 in Dzerzhinsk.

The dialogue platform took place in the Dzerzhinsky territorial center of social services for the population. Public figures, leaders and activists of the regional public organization and the Belaya Rus party, teachers and high school students were invited to discuss important issues for the Belarusian people.

At the dialogue platform, a topic relevant to modern times was considered – “Challenges and Threats to Political Stability and Sovereignty of the Republic of Belarus: Main Directions of Counteraction”. The first speaker was a member of the central council of the Republican public association “Patriots of Belarus”, a member of the presidium of the Belarusian Union of Women of the Minsk Region Yulia Artyukh.

The event was attended by the prosecutor of the Dzerzhinsky district Vladimir Nepokupny. He touched upon the topic of genocide, which has been relevant for a long time.

“Many investigations of the criminal case on the genocide have already been carried out,” the prosecutor said. “However, the work continues. We will definitely inform the society about what is happening.

All those present were offered to watch a documentary film from the BGAKFFD funds “Biography of my country. Minsk”, which is the first in the Open Film Archive project in cinemas. Alla Kot, Chief Custodian of the Belarusian State Archive of Film and Photo Documents, spoke about the need for patriotic education of young people.

The truth is in the archives! We are open to demonstrate our documents, open to dialogue. After all, if we unanimously talk about the true historical facts, it will not be possible to interpret them incorrectly.

The deputy head of the department for ideological work, culture and youth affairs of the Dzerzhinsky District Executive Committee Eugene Skorobogaty shared his thoughts. He touched upon the topic of population and human development of the country, and also answered questions from the participants of the dialogue.

The first dialogue platform, where many important issues were raised, was successfully held. Soon similar meetings will be held in Vileyka, Zhodino and other cities of all regions of the country.
