The thematic lesson «September 1 – Knowledge Day» and a sightseeing tour for students of gymnasium No. 4 in Vitebsk were held at the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region

The event was held as part of the «Archives for School» campaign. Its moderator was the leading archivist Anton Nikiforovich Yupatov, who told young listeners about the history of establishing the Day of Knowledge holiday.

The students were given a tour of the archive, during which they learned many interesting facts about the archival institution, the conditions and composition of the documents stored in it. On this festive day, students discovered a new profession for themselves – an archivist, which in the future, perhaps, one of them will choose for themselves!
