On September 1, in the Year of Peace and Creation, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign, the State Archives in Glubokoe cordially opened its doors for schoolchildren of the 5th grade of the Glubokoe district gymnasium and 8th grades of secondary school No.2
Employees of the department for the use and publication of documents conducted a tour of the archive, spoke about the history of the institution, areas of work, rules and conditions for storing documents.
In order to foster an active civic position among young people, to build a respectful attitude to the national values and traditions of the Belarusian people on the basis of historical facts, in the reading room of the archive for school students, the head of the department for the use and publication of documents, Tatyana Avlasova, conducted lessons on the topic «The genocide of the Belarusian people during of the Great Patriotic War on the territory of the Glubokoe region», where the children could see archival documents telling about the occupation regime in the Glubokoe region and the damage caused by the Nazi invaders.
