On the opening of the exhibition «Hello School»

On the eve of the opening of the new academic year, the Ministry of Justice hosted a presentation of the exhibition «Hello School».

The exhibition was prepared by the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus and includes copies of documents from the archives.

The exhibition presents unique documents: the Decree of the Central Executive Committee of the SSRB of 1919 on strengthening the nutrition of children attending schools, the Decree of the Council of People’s Commissars of the S.S.R.B. , a resolution of the Presidium of the State Planning Committee of the BSSR on the introduction of universal education in the BSSR in 1925, a memorandum to the Chairman of the Council of People’s Commissars of the Byelorussian SSR I.S.Bylinsky , samples of school graduation certificates for different years, and other interesting documents.

Documents on the history of education during the Great Patriotic War are presented on a separate stand, which contains photos of classes in partisan camps using improvised means.

The post-war documents section presents the rules of conduct for schoolchildren of that time and the main documents on the organization of the educational process.

A separate section of the exhibition presents the Belarusian children’s newspaper Zorka, as well as symbols of children’s and youth public organizations: photos of pioneer ties, October badges, etc.

Employees of the Ministry of Justice got acquainted with the exhibition.

The participants were interested in what specialties were most in demand in different time periods of the history of Belarus, the progress of the construction of new school buildings, the achievements of Belarusian schoolchildren at educational Olympiads of various levels, etc.

The exhibition will continue its work until September 7, 2023.
