On the participation of employees of the institution «State Archive of Public Associations of the Gomel Region» in the presentation of the book «Soltanovo. Agricultural town in the Rechitsa district»

On August 23, 2023, employees of the State Archive of Public Associations of the Gomel Region took part in the presentation of the book «Soltanovo. Agricultural town in the Rechitsa district», which took place in the Gomel Regional Universal Library named after V. I. Lenin.

The book «Soltanovo. Agricultural town in the Rechitsa district» was published by the editorial office of the newspaper «Gomelskaya Pravda» in the Year of Peace and Creation and timed to coincide with the 85th anniversary of the Gomel region. The idea of publishing the book belongs to the prosecutor of the Gomel region, a member of the Union of Journalists of the Republic of Belarus V.N.Morozov.

The book contains historical essays and memories of the residents of the agricultural town of Soltanovo, Rechitsa district, about those who lived, fought and worked on this land rich in talents, about those who continue the traditions. The book includes, among other things, documents from the state archive.

The presentation of the book was held in a friendly and sincere atmosphere. The musical program and congratulations all this became a real holiday for all those present.
