Meeting with Korzh Olga Nikolaevna (granddaughter of Korzh Vasily Zakharovich) at the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus

On August 3, 2023, a meeting was held at the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus with Korzh Olga Nikolaevna, the granddaughter of the Hero of the Soviet Union, Major General Korzh Vasily Zakharovich.

The head of the department of funds of personal origin, Inessa Vladimirovna Dorogush, spoke about the photo-documentary exhibition dedicated to Vasily Zakharovich, which presented documents from the personal fund of Korzh V.Z., as well as documents from the funds of state and party bodies, funds of partisan formations.

The deputy director of the archive, Elena Vladimirovna Kushnova, handed over to Olga Nikolaevna copies of the diary of Korzh V.Z.

Olga Nikolaevna expressed gratitude to the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus for preserving the memory of Korzh Vasily Zakharovich and transferred his family photograph to the archive.
