Fire safety in the Mogilev province

The fire service of Belarus has a 170-year history. Throughout this time, firefighters and rescuers carried out an important mission of helping people in trouble.

The task of the fire service was and remains also work to prevent the occurrence of emergencies. An example of such activity is the copy of the order of the Provincial Commissar of the National Economy dated April 20, 1918 «On fire prevention measures» submitted by the institution «State Archive of the Mogilev Region».

The document lists the measures that the county and volost Councils of Deputies were supposed to take to ensure fire safety in settlements.
