Solemn meeting dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the State Archive of the Mogilev Region

In 2023, the State Archive of the Mogilev Region turned 85 years old. The official countdown of the anniversary date is from July 5, 1938, when, in connection with the creation of regions, the Mogilev Regional Archive was formed by the Decree of the Presidium of the Central Executive Committee of the BSSR No.111.

The solemn meeting was attended by Alexei Tsvetkov, Deputy Director of the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Maimusov, Head of the Main Department of Justice of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee, Andrey Stolyarov, First Deputy Head of the Main Department of Justice of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee, Head of the Department for Archives, Records Management and Legal Expertise of the Main Department of Justice Yulia Klintsova, Elena Kudryavtseva, Chief Specialist of the Department for Archives, Paperwork and Legal Expertise of the Main Department of Justice of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee, Svetlana Sidorova, Head of the Organizational Department of the Mogilev Regional Committee of the Belarusian Trade Union of Workers of State and Other Institutions, and others.

For their contribution to the development of the archival industry, the staff of the archive were awarded with Certificates of Honor and Letters of Appreciation from higher organizations.
