«Archives for School» on the eve of the International Day of Archives

In the Year of Peace and Creation and within the framework of the «Archives for School» campaign in the Minsk Regional Library named after. A.S. Pushkin, a historical and documentary exhibition «A Portrait of a Family in the Interior of Time», prepared by employees of the State Archives of the Minsk Region, is exhibited.

During the summer holidays on June 7, 2023, the young guests of the exhibition were pupils of school health camps of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No. 127 of Minsk» and the State Educational Institution «Secondary School No. 49 of Minsk». In the exhibition hall of the library, schoolchildren got acquainted with archival materials characterizing family traditions and family life in different periods of history and learned many interesting facts from the history of family development.

Schoolchildren were genuinely interested in extracts from parish registers, school graduation certificates, occupation documents, as well as photographs of the family in different years.
