Visit of the school camp to the archive

On June 7, 2023, as part of the “Archives to School” campaign, the Year of Peace and Creation and the International Week of Archives Zonal State Archive in Kobrin, the children of the health camp “Sun” of secondary school No. 6 of Kobrin visited .

Lesson “Life is given to the archive” was dedicated to the International Day of Archives. Director Yulia Zakirova spoke about the former director of the Zonal State Archive in Kobrin Elena Nikolaevna Karbunar. The schoolchildren were presented with photo documents, numerous awards of the honored veteran of the archival industry, articles in the regional newspaper «Кобрынскі веснік» about the former director. A video about the activities of the archive was shown, in which Elena Nikolaevna gave an interview.

Traditionally, a tour of the archive was held with a visit to the archives. During which, the children were shown large-format documents stored in the archive.
