Working visit of the Director of the Department for Archives and Paperwork O.L. Voinov to the state archives of the Vitebsk region
On June 6-7, 2023, as part of a working visit, the Director of the Department for Archives and Records Management O.L.Voinov visited the State Archive of the Vitebsk Region, the Zonal State Archive in the city of Orsha, the Zonal State Archive in the city of Polotsk, the Zonal State Archive in the city of Glubokoe. Within the framework of the working visit, the Director of the Department O.L.Voinov met with the Head of the Main Department of Justice of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee S.P.Konopelko. Issues of perspective development of archival institutions of the region, provision of material and technical base of archives were discussed at the meeting.
During a visit to archival institutions, the director of the Department held working meetings, at which he heard reports from directors on the work of institutions in 2022 in the first half of 2023, and also met with labor collectives. O.L.Voinov assessed the work of archivists in preserving the documentary heritage of the region and set tasks for the current period.
