The zonal state archive in Mozyr was visited by librarians of rural branches of the Mozyr Central Regional Library named after A.S.Pushkin

On May 26, the establishment of the »Zonal State Archive in Mozyr» within the framework of the workshop «Local history activities of libraries in modern conditions» visited by librarians of rural branches of the Mozyr Central Regional Library named after A.S.Pushkin in the amount of 23 people.

The head of the department of office work, the formation of the NAF and the archives of organizations, Romanovich Tatyana Nikolaevna, conducted a training session on the topic: «Organizations – sources of acquisition of the archive, terms of storage of documents, compilation of the nomenclature of cases».

Head of the Department of Information and Use of Documents, Domashkevich Elena Valentinovna, held a conversation with librarians on the topic: «The composition of archive documents, their use and practical application».

The chief custodian of the state archive funds, Bikchentayeva Tatyana Rashitovna, conducted a tour of the archive storage with the guests and told them about the conditions for storing documents, their search and use for practical purposes, as well as methods for converting documents into electronic format.

The sightseers were presented with stationary exhibitions of archival documents: «A yellowed leaf is folded like a triangle …» (letters from the front) and «They brought Victory closer» (memoirs of participants in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945).
