Congratulation of the Director of the Department for Archives and Paperwork to the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation on the 55th anniversary of its foundation

On behalf of the Department for Archives and Paperwork of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus and myself, I congratulate the staff of the institution «Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation» on the 55th anniversary of its foundation.

The Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation is the youngest among the republican state archives.

From the first days of its formation, one of the main tasks of the archive was not only the preservation of science-intensive and technological information, but its widespread introduction into scientific and economic circulation.

The documents of your archival institution are in demand by numerous organizations in the construction industry. Their use brings a significant economic effect in matters related to restoration, survey work, and other areas of activity.

Documents of personal origin of outstanding architects and designers of domestic mechanical engineering are of great scientific value.

I am sure that the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation will also play a significant role in the implementation of new projects in the archival industry.
