To the Day of State Symbols of the Republic of Belarus

On May 14, 2023, our country celebrates the Day of the State Flag, the State Emblem and the National Anthem of the Republic of Belarus. On this day, we bring to your attention an interesting document from the collections of the Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art. In the fund of the artist Valentin Viktorovich Volkov, the author of the state emblem of the BSSR in 1927 and 1938, there is a sketch of the state flag of the BSSR, as it was presented by the people’s artist of Belarus.
