Belarusian State Archive-Museum of Literature and Art, as part of the republican action “My family is my country”, invites May 13 to the author’s lecture by Viktor Zhibul “Rod. Family. Archives” , the theme of which will be genealogical studies of the family tree. Using the example of his own genealogical searches in the archives of Belarus, the leading researcher will tell you how each of us can conduct our own research into the history of our family, trace family ties and the continuity of generations, talk about our discoveries and interesting documents. The specialist of the archive-museum will tell you how to navigate in genealogical sources, reference books, acts. The lecture will present unique documents from the funds of the archive-museum, illustrating the genealogical connections of famous figures of literature and art.
